Thanks for taking the time to look at my website. My name is Dan Cachelin. I am originally from Santa Barbara, California which is a coastal town approximately 150 miles north of Los Angeles. I have a Bachelors of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. After being in the landscape business for over twenty years in a wide variety of roles, I have identified and consequently built my businesses around three core principles that I believe are vital to the success of any service business.
Communication - Listening is the key to providing inividual clients with a customized design that blends their project needs and budget. This combines their input with my knowledge, creativity, and expertise to create a unique landscape environment. Communicating with clients and managing their expectations are vital.
Creativity - Every project must be unique and reflect the personality of each individual client and their home. I firmly believe that creativity makes all the difference in constructing a unique outdoor garden space and is essential when trying to separate yourself from the competition.
Consistency - This means taking all the necessary steps to deliver on what was promised to the clients in terms of quality, service, and aesthetic vision. During any landscape project it is important to be actively engaged in creating the final product and to always be available for clients' questions and concerns.
